The name stems from their love of backpacking and seeing the world. Given Chattanooga’s big love of the same, it seems a fitting moniker.
This, Chattanooga’s newest craft brewery, had its soft opening Thursday, November 8. But, the Dial brothers admit the official grand opening has been pushed back until at least the end of November 2018. Until then, the final details of the taproom and what else we can expect at WanderLinger remain a mystery. But, they’ve previously promised a dedicated art exhibit room, a live music stage, seating for 120, and — most awesomely — a beer garden.
Their current craft beer offerings include:
- WanderLinger Lager
- Stumpthumper Pale Ale
- Appalachian Alt
- Hobb’s Cabin Porter
- Hillwalker Pilsner
- 100 Day IPA
- King Salamander Russian Imperial Stout
No word yet on which of these will represent their core beer menu and which (if any) will be rotated out.
If you can’t wait for the taproom to open — if you need your WanderLinger fix right now — draft pours are often available at Sigler’s (1309 Panorama Dr Suite 117 / Chattanooga).
