Heaven & Brewing Company One Year Birthday Bash

Chattanooga’s iconic Heaven & Ale Brewing Company is celebrating the official one-year anniversary since opening its Northshore location. The taproom will be open with a slew of new beers being released throughout the day. A special menu from the good folks at Diamond Billiards Club will include locally sourced Angus beef, among other snacks — $20 admission includes 5oz pours of ALL guest beers. Passageways 2.0 Grand Opening Block Party

The latest Passageways art installation is now open, and a block party is the best way to celebrate it. The event includes food trucks, live music with performances by Spinster, Courtney Reid, and The Pop-Up Project, a cash bar, and a bunch of other vendors. (Full details via Facebook)

Get a good paddle in this weekend with the good folks at REI Outdoor School. Enjoy the autumn leaves, crisp air, picturesque vistas, and information on the surrounding areas history and nature while you take in the sights of fall at a relaxed pace. Veteran’s Day Concert

Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium / Chattanooga
Sunday Nov 11, 2018 @ 4-6pm / Free admission

Commemorate Veteran’s Day with this free concert featuring music popularized a century ago near the end of World War I. Put on by the Chattanooga Music Club and Chattanooga Symphony & Opera. Ken Double will open on the Mighty Austin Organ. The Lee University Singers and soloist, Daniel Mata, will be featured. UTC has compiled a video that will be shown and the 6th Calvary will turn the outer lobby into a museum bringing in displays from WWI. It’s the 100th anniversary of “Armistice Day” that marked the end of WW1 on 11/11/18. (Full details via Facebook)
